Since the beginning, Automobile Year welcomes a few selected advertisers in each of its issues. Mercedes-Benz, Renault and several other car manufacturers, Pininfarina, Girard-Perregaux, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, and many more, have regularly had a presence in the publication.
Readers' profile:
- Male readers dominated the respondents to a recent questionnaire inserted in copies of Automobile Year.
- The age pattern began with 3% between 14 and 19; 12% were between 20 and 25, while 13% were between 25 and
30; no less than 61% of the readers were in the high spending 30 to 50 age group, while 11% were over 50.
- The loyalty to the publication was shown to be outstanding, 47% of respondents had been buying the annual for 30 or more years; 36% had been readers for 30 years or more.
- The position of Automobile Year as a collectible commodity was shown by the fact that 30% of respondents had collections of between 20 and 40 copies; 29% had more than 30.
- The position of Automobile Year as a work of reference was emphasised by the fact that just under half of the respondents buy no other motoring annual.
- Readers obviously include automobile enthusiasts and industry leaders.
